Welcome to ACEA

Welcome to the web site for the Alabama Christian Education Association (ACEA).  ACEA has been on the cutting edge of promoting, protecting, and preserving Christian school education for almost fifty years. The primary purpose for the ACEA is to meet the spiritual, academic, and athletic needs of the Christian school student in both large and small schools.

The ACEA employs an executive director, an executive assistant, and an administrative assistant to answer questions and help schools with varying needs.  Working to help schools benefit from all that ACEA offers is our goal.

ACEA is governed by a board of nine officers, a president, and a vice president.  These are outstanding leaders in the Christian community and the Christian school movement.  In conjunction with the American Association of Christian Schools our schools and students have as many as twenty-five outstanding persons always serving and working on their behalf.

Our slogan, “Working Together to Better Serve,” has proven to be an effective means of accomplishing our goals. Only by working together can we continue to move forward and successfully confront the challenges of the future.

                     ACEA Membership

Membership in the Alabama Christian Education Association (ACEA) is afforded to church and Christian schools that agree with the goals and objectives of the Association, annually sign our membership statement, and pay dues for students and staff. Our membership year is October 1 through September 30.

​ACEA Legislative Involvement

The Alabama Christian Education Association has a history of positive legislative involvement. ACEA has successfully lobbied the Alabama State Legislature to pass laws that greatly benefit member church and Christian schools as well as church childcare ministries.

​ACEA Statement of Faith

The Alabama Christian Education Association has adopted a statement of faith as a witness to the world, and as instruments of doctrinal accountability. We are not embarrassed to state before the world that these are doctrines we hold precious and as essential to membership within this association. It is the purpose of this statement of faith and message to set forth certain teachings which we believe.
