Explore the following ACEA student opportunities and training
AACS Youth Legislative Training
Sponsored by the American Association of Christian Schools, this program offers selected students the chance to travel to Washington, D.C. for a week of training in the American political system. To be considered for admission, students must complete an application and write an essay. The students chosen will tour the nation's capital and meet exceptional leaders. All costs are covered, except for transportation to Washington, D.C. For more information visit the AACS website at www.aacs.org.

AACS Creative Writing Contest - Short Story and Poetry
Elementary and junior high students are eligible to enter. Topics are assigned and school winners are sent to the ACEA office for judging. State winners are then sent to the AACS office for judging against other state winners. This is an opportunity for students to be challenged in writing skills on thought provoking subjects. Alabama has had national winners in the past. Small and large schools can participate with all students having an equal opportunity to win. For more information visit the AACS website at www.aacs.org.

AACS Student Leadership Training
The American Association of Christian Schools has an excellent student leadership training program. Expert presenters following a very well-developed curriculum instruct and inspire high school students to become servant leaders. For more information visit the AACS website at www.aacs.org.
