The Alabama Christian Education Association sponsors Academic, Art, Bible, and Fine Arts competitions for students in grades three through twelve each academic year. In state competitions in the senior high division (grades 9-12), first place entries receiving an excellent or superior rating have the opportunity to advance to national competition, sponsored by the American Association of Christian Schools at Bob Jones University in Greenville, South Carolina. A second place entry receiving an excellent or superior rating MAY have the opportunity to advance to national competition if the first place entry cannot be considered.
Competition serves a useful purpose for schools by building spirit, challenging students to fully develop their abilities for use in the Lord’s work, and providing an opportunity for students to make friends with students in other Christian schools. The structure and categories in competition create opportunities for students no matter the size of the school they attend. The benefits and opportunities for the small school student are as great as for the student from larger schools. Academic Online Testing - TestPoint™ TestPoint™ Academic Testing Competition Program is a valuable asset for any educational association, homeschool group, or other school entities. This testing method will reduce administrative costs associated with a typical academic competition.
